Got this in 09 and wore it never taking off and finally broke clapping at church on morning very durable very great work for the priceLove itI don't believe I've ever written a review on amazon before, so this just goes to show you how motivated I was to contribute to the many numbers reviews for this ring. I bought this ring for my boyfriend because he was looking for something celtic and I knew how much he loved dragons. It's sometimes difficult to find quality jewelry that can suit him because of his taste but also he is allergic to most metals except for sterling silver, gold, and as we have found out, tungstun. I was a bit skeptical and on the quality of this ring for the price. It seemed almost too good to be true and I debated for a good week and also read countless reviews on it before deciding to take the plunge and risk it. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I decided to go with this ring. The quality was great and he absolutely loved it although he claims he would love a cracker jack ring if it came from me. Now the thing that made me want to write this review is because recently he had a very near miss that could have left him pretty badly injured at work. It was pure luck that he was wearing it on his left ring finger. Even though that's the finger I bought the ring for, he tends to shift the ring from finger to finger because his hands swell periodically. He works as a technician and at the time he had his hand nearly crushed by a 10 inch steel door that closed within 3-5 seconds - too fast for him to have reacted to move out of the way. His hand, the one wearing the ring, was caught in the door except his hand was perfectly fine! There wasn't even a scratch on the ring! When he called me from work and told me what had happened I was shocked and my heart wouldn't stop beating a mile a minute for a good hour afterward but I can't tell you how thankful I am that I got that ring for him! I plan to get another for his right hand as well!I've seen some reviews where they complain about the workmanship of the design. About a week or so after I purchased the ring I received and email from the company telling me to feel free to contact them and return it in the case that I wasn't satisfied or that there was something faulty with the ring. So if you have a problem they at least give you a way to get things fixed and settled. If you're looking for something that you can get your sweetie with a discerning eye and a tough job, then this is definitely the ring for you! It's perfect for men that deal with handling heavy machinery or if they tend to be hard on their jewelry. My boyfriend completely warped his last Celtic ring, gold, around his finger and the allergic reaction he has causes the metal to slowly get eaten away and degrade the ring. That ring has surely been tested to the 10th degree on his finger and it was worth every penny!-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-Update (only four days later)The ring has held up beautifully. I have been intentionally hard on it at work. I have banged it against every metal surface I have had the opportunity to and I even took it off and forcefully dragged it across some concrete bricks. I almost thought it had scratched when I did that but after wetting it and wiping it off with a solid rag I got all the bits of concrete off that were stuck to it and was left with a nice, shiny ring with no scratches. I am going to upload a user image of the ring as well now that it's been through the mill. I will say to be careful with the inlay as it's protected by a resin and that WILL scratch. Mine has some minor scratching on it but nothing serious. The resin is set JUST below the level of the metal so there is protection for it. You have to get the corner or edge of something on there to hit the resin.-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-This ring is beautiful. I have seen some reviews stating that the inlay was not matched up or was not crisp. I don't have either of those issues. The inlay is crisp and well aligned and the ring is a nice, bright silver just a shade darker than what's pictured. The inlay is crisp and I have no trouble seeing detail in it from an arm's length away regardless of whether I'm indoors or out. This ring is VERY comfortable. I can't feel any edges on it and it slides smoothly onto my finger. I will say that it's heavy but I really like to be able to feel a ring on my finger so that is perfect for me. Some may not like the weight so if you're sensitive about the weight of your rings you might try for a lighter metal or a thinner size (this ring is available in a 7mm width at all sizes and is available in a few select sizes with a 6mm width here on Amazon.)The only caveat I would offer is that this ring feels like a 10.5 but is sold as an 11 so bear that in mind when choosing your size. I think the general rule for purchasing "comfort band" rings is to go a half size larger anyway.I bought this ring for my partner, he is a size W. And W fit him just right, the ring is gorgeous and looks exactly as it does in the photo. It's just the material used.. Not sure why, but the material is making his fingers blister, he's tried it on both hands now, and both times it has blistered his finger and we are unsure of why because he has no allergies to metal.Firstly I would like to say that this is a beautiful ring. It is very comfy to wear and the design is lovely and unusual. However I returned mine because the ring is described as gold and silver. In reality the silver is very dark pewter - not as shown in the pictures. In the pictures the bright silver lifts the overall tone of the ring. In real life the dark pewter colour does make the whole ring look darker and I didn't like this effect at all. I would say to order a size bigger than you would usually order as it is a snug fit.Bought this ring to wear as a thumb ring. Had trouble with the sizing as charts found online are inaccurate and the first ring I ordered in a size 'S' using a size chart printed from on online link was way out. The ring I received from Amazon would probably have fitted my big toe rather than my thumb. Sadly the cost of returning it appeared to come to about half the price of the ring itself so I gave it to a male friend.Reordered in size 'P'= 3 sizes down, and that still slightly big but fits well enough. Only for this order, the 'P' size wasn't available from Bling via Amazon UK, but straight from Bling in the States and therefore didn't have the free delivery option and so cost me £4 odd more than the first one with the freight included. So just to get 1 thumb ring, it's cost me around £30, which is more than I had in mind to start with. Beware the ring size charts supplied by online jewellery shops, including Hinds, Ernest Jones etc... they are not spot on!The ring itself it nice, a shiny dark silver colour and the celtic dragon pattern running through the middle is cool. Hoping as it is Tungsten, that it will not scratch or bend and will just stay nice and shiny.I was looking for a ring for the little finger of my right hand and I thought this would be ideal. I must say the ring is fantastic, I'm extremely pleased with it. My only problem was with the sizing.I'd already had my finger sized at a well known highstreet Jewelers so when I saw the ring on Amazon, I just ordered the size I'd been told. The ring arrived earlier than estimated but was far to small for my finger. I sorted out a return and ordered another. This time I used the amazon sizing guide, carefully measuring my finger to select the right size. Again the ring arrived ahead of schedule but this time it was too big for my finger. It did, however, fit perfectly on the ring finger of my right hand. I decided to keep it and get something else for the little finger.I'll say again the ring is lovely and excellent value. I would, however, urge people to use the amazon sizing guide but to order half a size smaller than you think. The ring is truly gorgeous, actually looks even better than the photo, if you can believe that. The only reason I am "only" giving it a 4 (would have been a 4.5 if it was possible) is because of the size.My ring finger is size W½ (66mm in diameter) and after reading another review here saying the ring came smaller than expected, I went for an X which SHOULD be 66.6mm in diameter. The ring that came here was more like 67.5mm and way too big for my ring finger (it actually fit my THUMB which is a size Y!)Add to that that it is made for "comfort fit" and this means there wasn't anything to catch on my finger and slipped right through.Knowing what I know now I would have gone for a size W which should fit beautifully so, in contrast to said review I would STRONGLY advise anyone interested in this ring to go for about half to a full size smaller, not bigger.
